Our Pawtners

At Lend a Paw, we paw-tner with local animal advocate organizations to better the lives of the pets around us. When animals are rescued they come with possible social and behavioral nuances and we are here to help accommodate those.

 

We believe in providing the  best lives to our four legged family members and we get to work alongside four organizations to do this:

Pit Stop Rescue

The Pit Stop is a volunteer based rescue that is dedicated to rescuing dogs from neglect and abuse, and giving them the love and nurture they deserve. No matter the breed, The Pit Stop is looking to open their doors to be a safe haven for dogs.

Rescue Me

Rescue Me promotes adoption and humane treatment of animals. This also includes humane treatment of all animals. Rescue Me rescues animals and helps with rehab, placement, and adoption.

CAAWS

The Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS) facilitates adoption of homeless animals while teaching the community about responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.

FOTA

Friends of Animals of Baton Rouge (FOTA) has a goal to treat every heartworm positive dog that is adopted at the Dog Adoption House. They rescue, re-home and save as many dogs and puppies as possible from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan area.
