I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and have always had a deep love for animals of all kinds! I grew up with German Shepherds and now have two of my own, King & Iris, who keep me busy! Before joining Lend A Paw, I was earning my Marketing degree at Southeastern. With any additional free time I had, I was helping out friends and family with their pets! It truly brings me so much joy being able to provide piece of mind for my clients. Our fur babies are very important members of our families, so i understand the worry in finding a caring and attentive pet sitter. I am so glad to be able to continue pursuing my passions with Lend A Paw and can’t wait to meet your fur babies and ensure that they receive the best care possible!

Hey there, my name is Alyssa and I’m a team lead at Lend A Paw! For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for working with animals. Growing up I had all kinds of different pets: dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and even different reptiles! Most of the animals I’ve owned have either been rescues or strays. I currently have 3 rescue pups of my own named Rover, Creole, and Frank. Throughout my time at Lend A Paw I’ve bonded with all sorts of pets that have anxiety or fear based issues. It’s been an honor getting to know every animal, and seeing our relationship grow at every visit! I absolutely love meeting new animals, and bonding with them at our drop in visits and taking them on field days. I can’t wait to continue my journey with Lend A Paw, and provide exceptional care for each and every pet we meet!

 I love that I get to highlight a client's pet and their experiences with us so owners can feel relieved that their pet is taken care of. I have worked several jobs where I have to actively communicate with others with a smile and I knew this was the job for me! I've loved animals since a young age and have always wanted to be a Veterinarian when I am older, specifically specifying in aquatics. I currently have one Domestic Shorthair Tabby named Thor and a great dane mix named Hinata!  I have been a Vet Tech for 5 years and have worked with a variety of animals such as large, small, exotics and wildlife! Lend-a-Paw is a company you can count on and trust that your pet is well loved while you are away.

I love all animals, and always have. I am certified in pet CPR and first aid, as well as have completed fear-free training. I grew up with and have taken care of dogs ranging from toy poodles to pit bulls, and many other fur babies in between - including rabbits, guinea pigs, and many hermit crabs (which I proudly can say lived very long and healthy lives in my care). I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so getting to see and care for your fur babies is much more of a treat for me than just a job. Before joining Lend A Paw, I worked at an animal hospital for 3 years, where I learned a lot about the health and caretaking of pets (specifically dogs and cats) and I am currently enrolled in school at BRCC to peruse my vet tech certification! I’ve been with Lend A Paw for a year and a half now, and I have loved getting to meet, love, and nurture your most prized possession(s), and look forward to working with pets and clients alike! I offer dog walking, drop-in care, overnight visits, and pet taxis, and would recommend our services to anyone needing a little extra help with their pets!

I am a Fear Free Certified pet sitter and walker! I also have over 10 years of pet sitting experience. I grew up with a deep love for animals. I currently have 2 cats and a rabbit but I have had many other cats since I was just 3 years old. I have also taken care of all the stray cats that have come and gone over the years. I was born and raised in Louisiana and still live here with my husband and son! I am dedicated to provide the best care possible to your pets! I will go the extra mile to ensure your pets feel loved and cared for and give them the most stress free environment while they are missing their family. I believe in L.A.P’s values of reliability and honesty to clients, as well as showing respect and compassion to all animals in our care! I can’t wait to meet you!

I currently attend LSU under an animal science major with plans to attend vet school afterwards. I’ve grown up around all varieties of animals and I’ve always been passionate about taking care of any hurt animal that I see, which led me to pursuing the vet degree. I also have a second job at a pet boarding/ dog daycare facility that is also connected to a vet office and I have been working there since November 2022. I love my pet boarding job and I absolutely LOVE working with animals. I adore all of the babies I get to take care of at the pet boarding job and I can’t wait to take care of all of your babies also!!

I am a sophomore Political Communications student at LSU. I originally decided to come to LSU and Baton Rouge because the Pre-vet program is incredible, but soon realized science and math is not necessarily my strong suit in school. I have grown up with a love and passion for all kinds of animals, and their care. My family and friends would characterize me as energetic and loving, especially when it comes to interacting with pets. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over five years now. I have a very anxious dog, Luna, at home so I know how stressful it can be to find a sitter who your pets are comfortable around. I cannot wait to meet and establish relationships with yall’s beautiful fur babies!

I wasn't born or raised in Baton Rouge but it's where I call home! I have two rescue puppers of my own, Bean (golden/aussie)  and Hava (vizsla/pit). When I am not training pups, walking pups or watching pups I am reading books and drinking tea. I've spent the last few years in the dog training world and can't wait for the future and all the new dogs and cats I get to meet and take care of every week!

I have been doing pet care work for a couple of years now and am also currently working as a pet bather for PetSuites: Stay and Play boarding facility. Although I do not have any pets of my own, I have always found myself very comfortable with animals and they have usually shown me the very same affection. I have lived in Baton Rouge my whole life and have only recently started doing pet care work but I have found much satisfaction in it. I am always committed to creating a comfortable environment for the animals I care for and have found that patience is a virtue in this field of work. Along with being committed to the animals, I am dedicated to working with pet parents and making sure that your Lend A Paw experience progresses as smoothly and efficiently as I can make it. I am a recent LSU graduate! I majored in Animal Science and minored in Business. I have worked in a Veterinary Emergency Hospital in the past and have gained knowledge in medicine administration and tell signs that an animal is ill. I had two dogs growing up, a Border Collie mix and an English Golden Retriever. As much as I love dogs, I also love cats! I currently have a Siamese mix who just turned 18!

I have always had a natural affinity with animals of all kind! I look forward to long walks with your pup, getting our steps in together, while we get to know each other and develop a relationship.

My background is in design, digital media/ communications, and I also have a yoga teaching certification. With an analytically whimsical mind, it is the loving nature of animals that has always kept me grounded in life (despite my best downward dog).

I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and now live right outside of it in Denham Springs. I graduated from LSU in 2018 with a degree in sports administration. I have had a passion for animals from a young age and that passion has only grown the older I get.

When I’m not caring for your pets, I am either spending time with my family, church, or enjoying the outdoors. I have cared for animals of all shapes and sizes from dogs, cats, guinea pigs, goats, cows, and horses! I’ve been loving on animals as long as I can remember and look forward to loving on yours!

I call Gonzales, LA, my home and have resided here since 1993. I have always had a love and passion for all animals. In the past i have had dogs of all sizes and breeds along with a beautiful siamese cat. I currently have 6 amazing rescue dogs.

In 2016 I started working with animal rescues as a volunteer, foster mom, transporter and then as the Executive Director. I was the General Manager of an animal boarding and training facility for three years after that. I enjoy learning about our canine companions and have a degree in Canine Behavior Training. I am currently enrolled in the K-9 Institute where i am furthering my education within the canine field by learning Service Dog training techniques. I am excited to be a part of this team and look forward to caring for your fur babies!

I’m a class of 2026 student at LSU! I’ve had a growing passion for animals for as long as I could remember ,which led me to major in animal-sciences - science and technology. I have had the opportunity to work with many species of animals from your usual pets to dolphins, sharks, turtles, otters, horses, and many more. Since I was 6 years old, I have been able to volunteer for many animal care centers. We currently have two dogs (cocker spaniel and cane corso) two cats, 5 chickens, a chinchilla, and a bird. I’m so excited to continue my journey as an animal lover with Lend A Paw, by doing drop ins and overnight visits with your fur babies!

I have been an animal lover my entire life, as a kid people would tell me I was going to be a veterinarian. Although that’s not the path I took, I have worked with animals in some capacity my entire working life. I have experience as a veterinary technician and am pet CPR certified. I have cared for many kinds of animals including cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, and so much more. I have a few pets of my own, Big Cat, Frank, Theo, and my dog Stella. I am so excited to be part of this company and to provide lots of loving care for your four legged family members. 

I am the proudest pet parent to my Labrador, Ollie, and my hedgehog, Mr. Butters.  I’ve always been surrounded by animals of all kinds growing up and have learned that they bring me great joy, peace, comfort and happiness. On my spare time I love doing all things active like going on evening walks with Ollie, working out and finding new hiking spots to explore. I’ve recently decided to take a leap of faith and go after my dream job as a Marine Biologist, so I’ll be starting Southeastern University. Other than that, you can find me nerding out on numerous romance novels or in the kitchen attempting a new healthy recipe I ran across. At the end of the day though, nothing is better than the beautiful simple things in life, family and friends and coming home to my sweet four legged kids!  

I have a good amount of experience with pets after caring for them for many years. I tend to have to watch my parent’s dogs (my brothers) when my parents are out of town. I have experience with fostering dogs for a short time to give them a vacation from the shelter. This has always brought me joy, being able to help out where i can. I have previously been a pet bather as well as a pet sitter. I also have a very small amount of experience training dogs. I have a strong love for pets and will do every thing I can to keep you and your pet happy! 

I am a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a BA in Business Management concentrating in Human Resources. I am currently the very proud mom to my Yorkie, Mercie Jo. I have had a deep affinity for animals of all kinds since I was a child and consider each and every one to be precious. I am a firm believer that every day of a pet’s life should be the best day and I am so excited to be part of a company that supports this belief! I cannot wait to get to know your pets and provide them with the safe, loving care they deserve!
